PARTICIPATION WAIVER:
I, on behalf of names registered above, wish to voluntarily participate in the Peel Regional Police (hereinafter called "the Service") Race Against Racism 5k Run/Walk event (the Race), taking place on June 13, 2026 from 9-12 pm at Mississauga Valley Park Splash 1275 Mississauga Valley Blvd, Mississauga ON L5A 3R8 including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any activities associated with the Tournament.
Waiver, Release, & Indemnification
In consideration of my participation in these activities, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns, fully accept any and all risks associated with my participation, and hereby release and forever discharge the Service, its Chief of Police, the Regional Municipality of Peel Police Services Board, the Regional Municipality of Peel, and their respective officers, employees and servants, from and against any and all actions, causes of actions, claims, demands for, upon, or by reason of any damage, or injury to my person or property which heretofore has been or hereafter may be sustained by me in consequence of my participation.
Compliance with Laws
I understand that I am solely responsible for ensuring that the I, alongside anyone else under my care or supervision, will comply with all applicable laws, including municipal bylaws, and all directions by any agent of the Service, while participating in the Race.
Consent to Use of Name and/or Image
I consent to being photographed and/or videotaped while participating in the this event, and grant the PRP the irrevocable right to use my name and/or image, as PRP, at its sole discretion, may see fit, for the limited purposes of publicity, advertising, or other similar purposes related to the promotion of the event or similar future programs.
Risks Associated with Participation
I warrant that I am physically fit and medically able to participate in this event. I voluntarily assume all risks in association with participating in the Race.
