Anti-Racism Advisory Committee (ARAC) 

Member Application Form

Peel Regional Police is seeking community members to join the Anti-Racism Advisory Committee and help strengthen equitable policing, community trust and meaningful collaboration across Peel Region.​

As Peel Regional Police advances its Human Rights Project (HRP) and commitment to addressing systemic racism, ARAC brings community voices to the table by providing advice and perspectives that help shape equitable policing, support the implementation of HRP recommendations and strengthen relationships with Peel Region's diverse communities.

New volunteer members will join existing ARAC members to help build a committee that reflects Peel Region's diverse communities, cultures, lived experiences and perspectives. 

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and live and/or work in Peel Region.

Successful applicants are expected to:​

  • Attend in-person committee meetings - approximately every two months 
  • Help advance the Human Rights Project
